Finding Happiness in Your Discomfort Zone

“Avoiding unhappiness, is not the road to happiness. More important that what we are searching for, is what we are avoiding.” – Hector and the Pursuit of Happiness

Staying in our comfort zones and avoiding discomfort or unhappiness, will not serve us in the long run or move us forward in life.

The most joyful experiences of most people’s life have come with great discomfort or fear: soloing an airplane; skydiving; rock climbing; running a marathon; traveling solo; starting a business.

Remember though, there is a difference between comfort and physical safety. Be daring. Be bold. Take risks. But don’t be stupid.

Are you finding your discomfort zones?
